Hi Ellen! Great video! I agree with being excited to learn about billing- I had so many questions for my supervisor about how you can bill for what and what certain insurances will reimburse for, so I'm excited to learn about these things for myself! It sounds like you had a very rewarding experience on Fieldwork, and that you learned lots, which is great! I think its great that you were able to identify a "thorn" and find an area of needed growth. Good job, Ellen!!
Ellen, I think it is so neat that you were able to see such a variety of clients. I feel like that gave you a variety of experiences for you to be able to pull from. Working on documentation is something that I was able to do a lot of on my second fieldwork and it also really helped me to be able to narrow down the purpose of the treatment. I agree with you about learning about billing and how more questions came up through this rotation. I feel like much of the reason for this is because we are becoming more sure of our therapeutic identity and are able to realize the things that surround the actual session. It sounds like you really had a great fieldwork experience and were able to learn a lot. Hope you have a nice relaxing break!
